Research manufactures the smallest and lightest animal tracking
tags possible, using the highest quality materials. Our
smaller collars are constructed from a variety of materials
to suit the specific requirements of your project. All designs
are “ergonomically” optimized to fit snugly
around the neck for minimal irritation to the animal.

- Unobtrusive low profile with completely enclosed transmitter,
antenna, and batteries
- Transmission longevity depends on battery selection
and duty cycling of the transmission. (Determined by customer
at time of order.)

For larger animals, the reinforced rubber collar is flexible
and has smooth molded edges for minimal abrasion to the
animal’s skin. On the inside of the collar there
is a second antibacterial layer for extra protection.
If the animal's environment or anatomy prohibits the use
of collars, then an implant is an excellent choice.
PROFILITE
Our Profilite collars integrate collar nylon reinforced
rubberized belting with electronics molded into the belting
with rubber-glass -foam:
- Collar with the thinnest profile of any design using
rubber beltin
- Lightest weight - using similar lengths and belting
material. For example, our 19" circumference 2.5+
year deer collar weighs only 195 grams
RUBBERLITE
Our Rubberlite collars incorporate the cleanest and lightest
design using nyril, an industry standard laminated nylon
reinforced, antibacterial rubber belted material.
- "Smoothing plate" at the end of the belting
to eliminate chaffing potential
- Removable/replaceable transmitter module can accept
either satellite or VHF in most sizes
- Reduced antenna diameter to avoid "ridging"
when incorporated into belting
- Removable/replaceable module for replacement or exchange
from VHF to satellite transmitters
Lighter weight - approximately 65%-80% of competitors'
molds using similar belting
Complete custom designed wildlife transmitter solutions;
the transmitter, battery, antenna are assembled in various
configurations to produce several different sizes and shapes
of tags appropriate to a particular animal and implantation
site. Transmitter potting options include a waterproof,
resilient, inert, non-toxic (medical grade) material for
surgically implanted applications.
